The Castle Keep ghosts are well known by local myths. The tour has become equally famous - the Keep ghost's subject of book's as well as scores of television documentaries, newspaper articles and websites. A careful blend of fascinating history and distinctive humour, culminating in a genuinely terrifying experience has made Newcastle's Ghost Walk a unique experience in entertainment.
On every ghost walk we will have ONE Ghost Walk Tour guide with you while you are on the walk plus our own Ghost Walk Security. For larger crowds we will have additional Ghost Walk Security on the walks. We take our customers safety very seriously but we also need you to be vigilant while walking on the uneven roads and paths and ensuring you use your road safety, and keep the little ones with you at all times.

About the 7.00pm ghost tour:
Walk on the old cobbles and pavements where ghostly apparitions have been sited. Hear chilling tales and petrifying aspects of history as we re-enact ghost sitting's, providing eerie, spine-chilling fun for anyone who dares enter the world of ghost’s, witches, wrath's and murder! This tour is amid at the light hearted fun of old Newcastle’s ghostly past with roll playing and the odd scare. This tour is timid and will not visit some of the more creepy locations, as this tour is suitable for under 12’s and families.
About the 8.30pm ghost tour:
This tour cuts all the roll play, costume and children out. With the use of adult humour we venture beyond the 7pm ghost tour as we delve into the blood-curdling parts of history. Learn the torturous methods used by unscrupulous characters to the grisly details of our most prolific killers who haunt old Newcastle. With the use of ghost hunting tools we will try and contact the spirit of a young girl who haunts one of our sites. The ghost walk offers visitors a thrill like no other attraction in Newcastle. This tour is aimed at an adult audience and children are not allowed on this tour.
Price per person: Adults £8.00 each, Under 16s and students with student cards are £4.00 each. Members only £6.00 each. Under 12s are FREE. For private party bookings and Schools please email for group discounts.
Length of tour: 1 hour and 15 minutes.
This tour may not be suitable for children under 12 years of age. Due to the content of our tour, children under the age of 4 are not allowed on this tour. The tour is also unsuitable for wheel chare access due to the structure of the Castle Garth and its many steps and cobbles. Any one taking part in the tour should know that the Castle Garth contains old steps and very dark walking locations.
